About Me
Jason Whiting is a Pittsburgh-based law student. Originally from northeast Ohio, Jason first moved to Pittsburgh in 2010 to attend the University of Pittsburgh. He transferred to Kent State University in 2013, moving back to Ohio, but moved to Pittsburgh again in 2016. He has no current plans to move back to Ohio, but he recognizes a pattern when he sees one.
Starting his legal career as a part-time assistant for a two-attorney law firm, Jason worked in legal support for six years before starting law school in 2021. He has continued working while in school, getting experience alongside his education. He expects to graduate law school in 2025 and really, really hopes he passes the bar exam that same year.
Jason spends as much of his free time as possible with his dog Zero, or at least as much as he can find between work and class. He enjoys collecting comic books and traveling when he can, which is not nearly often enough if you ask him. Hopefully that will change one day, but until then he’s content with occasional trips on shoestring budgets.
